A family of tables is a complete set of tables based on varying one portion of a dive. This Variance is defined by a given range of depth and time in specific increments. Only one waypoint or leg of the dive can be varied and any waypoints after the variance point will be moved in time accordingly. |

The Water Column tool that Voyager utilizes is a graphical representation of the water column to display and allow editing of the divers gas changes and speeds. By relating a gas mixture or speed to a given range of depth, the water column tool makes viewing and changing the base dive information very easy. |

Graphical Waypoints are Voyager's way of representing the various depths and times entered by the user and are similar to waypoints used in planning a long distance plane or boat trip. Voyager also uses the waypoint type to determine the proper method of calculating the ascent and descent time. |

The Dive Wizard is designed to complement the profilers graphical interface by providing a step by step method of entering necessary data. By using the wizard to aid in the dive planning process, the user is assured that all their bases are covered. This is the easiest way to achieve an immediate, well planned dive. |
